San Gimignano remains a feature of any visit to Tuscany,  not only because of its remarkable towers, but also for the fabulous frescoes and other artworks of tourist interest. More than three million people visit the city every year. It is therefore advisable to visit the city and stay there as a base for visiting Siena and other cities of historical interest such as Florence.
